Google's San Francisco WiFi plans starting to raise eyebrows
Our friends over at the unofficial Google weblog have mentioned that Google's plans to team up with Earthlink and provide San Francisco a citywide WiFi wireless internet network are, of course, running into some concerns. Most of the concerns center around the quantity of public input that will be provided into the buildout process
Privacy seems to be at the forefront of many new areas Google attempts to enter these days -- and rightly so. They've gained much power in a short period of time and the folks who use its services -- including possible cheap or free wireless internet -- want to make sure Google sticks to their credo of "do no evil".
